This wise owl was hand-carved, hand-painted and signed by Jan Szymański - a well-known folk artist from Kutno, an important folk sculpture centre in Central Poland.

PRODUCT INFO
Jan Szymańki became interested in folk art 25 years ago when he mastered the technique of using a chisel to sculpt linden wood, his favourite material. Linden is very maleable and easily available in the Kutno area and is one of the most typical wood materials traditionally used in sculptures from that region.

Material: Hand-painted wood. Size: 20cm high. Care: wipe with damp cloth, do not immerse in water.
