PRODUCT INFO
Polish Joli peg dolls were made as souvenirs for tourists from the 1950s onwards. Their bodies were premade by manufacturers and then sent to local people to hand paint the faces and make the clothes. This is why no two ever have the same outfit and the faces, which all look to their right have slightly different expressions. Some wear simple outfits while others can be quite elaborate, all sewed by the local craftspeople using scraps of their own leftover fabric.
