Luna-Leena designs its products in the Netherlands, and then these  are handmade in Kathmandu. They have their own local women's teams who make high-quality crochet, knitting, macrame and paper products - always made by hand and not by machine. This keeps these traditional crafts alive. The women work together or individually from their own home in Nepal. Luna-Leena contributes to better living and working conditions for these women and their families and sustainability and protecting the environment are their top priorities. Everything is made from natural materials such as: organic cotton (GOTS), wool, jute, leather, hemp and environmentally friendly paper (tree-free).

All packaging plastic free, made from recycled materials wherever possible and is 100% recyclable.

The wool is free of AZO dyes. Pure handicrafts from women who produce at home, thus contributing to improving living conditions in Nepal.
