Clothkits heritage spans over 50 years, having been originally founded in 1968 by Anne Kennedy. During her time at Camberwell College of Art, Anne came up with the simple and ingenious idea of printing dressmaking pieces straight onto dyed fabric�with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. And with that spark of creativity, Clothkits was born! The original Clothkits were stocked in my mother's children's clothes shhop, Fuzzypeg, in Woodbridge. Following a buyout by Freemans, their Sussex-based firm re-launched in the 90s with a fresh collection of gorgeous outfits to cut and sew at home. All the designs are printed directly onto the fabric, eliminating the need for separate paper patterns. So you can simply cut along the lines, sew, and create beautiful handmade garments with ease. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced maker,the kits take the guesswork out of sewing while still encouraging creativity and craftsmanship.
