Fully hand-painted, the Russian doll wears the signature red flower and bright yellow headscarf traditionally found on the Semenov Russian stacking doll. This is the baby of nesting dolls, only having 3 pieces and standing only 7 cm tall.

Founded on the basis of an international friendship, they are a small company based jointly in Boone, North Carolina and St. Petersburg, Russia. their dolls are designed and manufactured in St. Petersburg by a production team of skilful artists, talented designers, carvers and engineers. In addition they distribute traditional Russian folk art toys and gifts that they buy directly from the craftspeople of Nolinsk, Polkhovski and Fedoskino.
